Amino Falls ("we", "us") makes comedy cartoons about peptides at aminofalls.com. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have.
Who the site is for
Amino Falls is for adults. You must be 18 or older to use the site or to sign up for our emails, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you think someone under 18 has given us their email address, write to us and we will delete it.
What we collect
- Your age answer. When you answer "Are you 18 or older?", your browser keeps the answer in a cookie so we don't ask again. It stays on your device.
- Email sign-ups. Your email address, your confirmation that you are 18 or older, the page you signed up from, the time of sign-up, and basic technical details (IP address, browser type) that we use to prevent abuse.
- Viewing measurement. Privacy-friendly, first-party page-view and session counts. Optional analytics (such as Google Analytics) and marketing signals (such as the Meta pixel) only run after you allow them in the privacy banner.
- Video playback. Episodes stream from our video host, Bunny.net, which receives your IP address and basic playback details so it can send you the video.
- Contact. If you email us, we keep the message so we can reply.
How we use it
- To send the new-episode emails you asked for, and to measure whether emails are opened and which links are clicked.
- To understand which episodes people watch, so we can make better ones.
- To keep the site secure and to prevent spam and abuse.
We do not sell personal information. We never share your email address with other companies for their own marketing.
Who helps us run the site
- Supabase (database and staff sign-in), Netlify (hosting), Resend (email delivery) and Bunny.net (video streaming) process data on our behalf under their own privacy terms.
- Optional analytics and marketing tools only load after you give consent.
Cookies and local storage
We use one cookie to remember your age answer, and local storage to remember your privacy choices and a random visitor id for first-party measurement. Optional analytics and marketing tools set their own cookies only after you allow them. You can change your choices at any time with "Privacy choices" in the footer.
Your choices and rights
- Every email we send has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing takes effect immediately.
- You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing hello@aminofalls.com.
- Depending on where you live (for example the EU, the UK or California), you may have additional rights, including the right to object to processing and to complain to a supervisory authority. We honour these requests wherever you live.
Data retention
Email data is kept while you are subscribed and for a short period afterwards on a suppression list, so we do not email you again by mistake. Measurement data is aggregated or purged on a rolling basis.
Changes
We will post any changes on this page and update the date shown above.
